The National Careers Service provides information, advice, and guidance for young people and adults to help them make informed choices about their work, learning and training options.
Delivered in a flexible way that works around your lifestyle, we provide targeted careers support that helps you to identify and address any barriers to getting into, and on in work.
So whether you are out of work, currently working and just need help in making that next move, or facing redundancy and want help updating your CV, our National Careers Service team are able to help.

Who can access the service?
Our face-to-face services are available for adults ages 19 and over, and for 18-year olds who are not in education, employment or training.
The National Careers Helpline, and our online services, are available for everyone aged 13 and over.

You can find the National Careers Service at a number of local venues including Jobcentres, community centres, colleges and libraries.
The National Careers Service helpline and webchat is available Monday – Friday 8-00 am to 8-00 pm and on Saturdays 10-00 am to 5-00 pm on 0800 100 900.
