Helping You to Support Disabled Employees

Do you have disabled employees or employees with long term health conditions who are finding it difficult to sustain their work and are having a negative experience in your organisation? Greater Manchester Employment Support can help you retain valuable talent and expertise that may be otherwise lost due to long-term sickness or resignations.

If any of your team are currently struggling to stay in work as they are managing a long-term condition or disability, we can support you to make adjustments to help them thrive, including:

  • Understanding the barriers they face and advising you on reasonable workplace adjustments that support them

  • Supporting you in developing tailored back to work plans if you have a team member on leave due to their health condition or disability

  • We will work in collaboration with you and your team member to develop plans which will support their work life.

Benefits to your organisation include:

  • Enhanced employee wellbeing and morale

  • Reduced absenteeism and recruitment costs

  • Enhanced social responsibility

  • Employment Support is here to support individuals to seek, stay, and succeed in work and will provide support unique to their situation

The programme is voluntary and taking part will not affect participant's job, situation, benefits, or other arrangements.
